Family Treatment Leader - Regina SK (Personal Services)



Location: Family Treatment A, Regina, SK
Position: Full Time Term ending August 7, 2026

Join our team as a Family Treatment Leader!

In this role, you will be at the heart of our Family Treatment Program, guiding and supporting both your team and the families we serve. You will lead shift activities, encourage proactive decision-making, and create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for growth. As a Family Treatment Leader, you'll provide essential home-based services such as promoting positive parenting, budgeting, household management, and healthcare. You will play a critical role in implementing treatment plans, building on family strengths, and adapting to the evolving needs of our participants.

Education and Professional Certification

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in social sciences or related human service field.

Experience

  • At least two (2) years of experience working with children, youth, and/or families.
  • Experience working independently with diverse populations.
  • Leadership experience in a team environment.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

Services

  • Assist participants with daily functioning and life skills such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and positive behaviors.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment and lead family activities.
  • Collaborate on task planning and adapt to changing needs.
  • Implement and support treatment plans and strategies to help participants reach their goals.
  • Facilitate social and educational programs for youth.
  • Contribute to developing family program services and provide childcare during program activities.
  • Provide in-home crisis support and 24/7 on-call crisis management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and transport participants for treatment-related purposes.
  • Document incidents and updates accurately and timely.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Leadership

  • Lead and support the team, employees, practicum students, and volunteers.
  • Train new employees in family treatment intervention methods.
  • Foster a positive work environment and model agency values.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team as needed.
  • Make decisions on team assignments in the program manager's absence.

Management of Resources

  • Prepare and manage family treatment worker schedules.
  • Identify and coordinate resources for treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with community resources and manage budgets.
  • Ensure maintenance of program vehicles and household setups.
  • Conduct regular household inspections and assist with family transitions.

Safety

  • Promote safe work practices and comply with agency and government regulations.

Additional Requirements

  • The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.
  • Employees must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.

Wage range is $29.37 - $37.96 per hour.
