Insurance Payables Administrator (Finance)

Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Payables Administrator in Surrey, BC at our Head office.

Expected Compensation: The expected annual hiring range for this role is between $44,000-55,000 with a 37.5-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

In this role, you will support the Insurance Payables team through accurate and timely completion of daily and monthly responsibilities of insurance carrier payables. As Westland conducts business in all provinces and continues to grow rapidly, the scope of this role will continue to expand and evolve.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable

Once here, you'll:

• Handle monthly reporting and payment of insurance carrier payables
• Analyze and resolve variances between Westland and carriers
• Support the team with payments to insurance carriers of Direct Bill flow through
• Support the team with payments of client refunds and third-party premium financing
• Handle daily payments of auto fund balance payables to auto licensing and registration authorities in various provinces
• Always think of the customer first, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond to stakeholders in a timely manner
