Westland Insurance Group Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in Surrey, BC at our Head Office.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $100,000 to $117,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a seasoned Project Manager, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects that span business transformation, operational improvements, and technology enablement. You will lead strategic initiatives from inception through execution, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to deliver measurable value. Why we'll love You:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree or certifications like PMP, Agile, or Change Management are assets)
  • Bring 7+ years' experience leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional projects, including SaaS implementations
  • Experienced working in matrix environments and navigating complex stakeholder groups
  • Communicate clearly with executive, technical, and operational audiences
  • Strong at building collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a sharp attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-directed, and committed to high-quality delivery
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or with business transformation projects is an asset

Once here, you'll:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact projects across business units such as operations, marketing, product, HR, finance, and technology
  • Create and manage project plans across all key disciplines-scope, schedule, budget, risk, and communications
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure aligned execution and successful outcomes
  • Anticipate and manage interdependencies, capacity challenges, and risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to operational handoff
  • Communicate progress and status updates tailored to various stakeholder groups, including senior leadership
  • Drive strategic thinking and contribute to future-state planning during project execution
  • Champion continuous improvement through post-project reviews and process enhancements
